In the past few years most would agree that the word and topic of ‘sustainability’ or ‘sustainable living’ (covering human, environmental, social and economic pillars) have become a bit of a buzzword/phrase. This is due to the unprecedented support being shown by worldwide leaders and organisations supporting the move towards a sustainable economy. Learn how Morgan Latif are being sustainable and how you can contribute to creating a greener environment with Rose Harper. This has led to the general public wanting to help our planet too. In a survey completed in 2021 in China, the UK and the US looking at willingness towards sustainable living, 46% of respondents said: “they’re doing all they can to live more sustainably”.
Our Commitment to a Greener Future
Due to statistics like these and such enormous growth in the communal push for a greener and more circular economy, two years ago Morgan Latif decided to change our business. By doing so, we showcase how Morgan Latif are being sustainable and how you can contribute to creating a greener environment with Rose Harper.
Our core sectors include clients from packaging, med tech, and electronic manufacturing businesses. We take pride in only working with businesses that value sustainability. They make efforts within their production teams to move towards this. Perhaps most relevant is the packaging sector. Wasteful plastic packaging accounts for a massive carbon footprint.
However, one of our top clients recently reported that “70% of customers would pay more for sustainable packaging”. This is just one example of a business that we work with. They have introduced manufacturing sustainable packaging to many global businesses. This includes introducing flexible packaging and 100% recyclable metal packaging alternatives.
Not only do we support working with clients that support sustainability, but we believe our staff and office must reduce our carbon footprint as well. Therefore we are working towards receiving our B-CORP certification. B-CORP certifications are described as “companies verified by to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability”. We implemented new practices: sourcing all office food locally and sustainably, using hybrid vehicles for deliveries, and ensuring 100% recycling. This demonstrates how Morgan Latif are being sustainable.
How can you make small steps towards living a more sustainable lifestyle and make a big difference?
These are our top tips for small changes that, if we all support, will make a long-term difference towards the environment.
1. Travel more sustainably and use a car less or not at all.
2. Avoid single use and disposable items.
3. Switch to green energy providers at home.
4. Eat a plant-based diet at least once a week – try ‘meatless Mondays’!
5. Shop from sustainable fashion brands.

My team and I believe this growth in the move towards a circular and sustainable economy is the way forward for our planet. We hope that other executive search businesses will support this move towards a greener economy.
