Empack 2024 marked a significant milestone for the sustainable packaging sector. The event attracted an impressive turnout of 7,000 attendees and 454 exhibitors. Some of our packaging team such as Leo Gualchierotti, Lewis Campbell, and Manager Ollie Pearn, attended the event.

This year’s event stood out as a dynamic innovation, sustainability, and collaboration platform. It emphasised the industry’s progressive efforts to address contemporary environmental challenges. The team’s engagement led to meaningful conversations, uncovered new avenues of opportunity, and strengthened existing partnerships. This highlighted Morgan Latif’s dedication to fostering growth and sustainability within the packaging industry.

Emphasising Sustainability: The Ascendance of Compostable Packaging

Empack focused on sustainable packaging solutions, particularly spotlighting compostable packaging. This trend mirrors the growing consumer demand for environmentally friendly products that do not compromise on quality or convenience. The global market for sustainable packaging is anticipated to reach USD 347.3 billion by 2026. The market for compostable packaging is expected to see considerable growth over the next five years. This is propelled by advancements in material science and a broader regulatory drive to minimise plastic waste.

Empack 2024: Spearheading Sustainable Innovation

Empack 2024 offered a stage for exhibitors to unveil their latest developments in compostable packaging materials and designs. From bio-based polymers that decompose within months to inventive packaging solutions that diminish carbon footprints, the event underscored the industry’s pledge to a sustainable future. These innovations not only address ecological concerns but also open new doors for brands to connect with eco-aware consumers.

Reflecting on Empack 2024’s triumphs, it’s evident that the future of packaging is anchored in sustainable solutions catering to commercial needs and planetary well-being.
