I’m a graduate, why should I go into Executive Search?
There are many opportunities for growth, meeting senior clients and building relationships.
I have recruitment experience. How is ML different?
We genuinely believe our platform allows those that didn’t find the right environment for them to truly thrive. There are a number of examples in the business of consultants that have taken their billings to new heights since joining ML. Our unique approach to search and being a truly collaborative company makes this a unique place to work in the sector.
How do you setup employees for success at ML
We have a continuous improvement approach to the training of our employees and offer regular training sessions, we also offer all of our employees a learning & development budget to use on anything that will benefit their growth and development.
How do you develop your leaders?
We offer a Leadership Development Program for Senior Consultants and above.
What opportunities do I have to travel internationally if I get a role at ML ?
As well as regular business trips to meet clients and attend our hosted networking events, we also have international incentives when reaching a high performing business goal.
What can I expect from the onboarding process?
We have a mix of classroom and on the desk training. Our training takes place over 8 weeks and is tailored to your seniority. We place a big emphasis on shadowing, coaching and call listening in those first week finalising in a presentation back to your peers on what you’ve learned – Knowledge is pointless without application!
How diverse are you?
We have 17 different nationalities in our workplace and place high value on being a diverse and inclusive workplace. We also have a 50/50 male to female ration in the business as well as multiple languages spoken throughout across 30 consultants. Languages spoken at business fluency level: English, German, French, Finnish, Romanian, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Lingala & Hindi, and Italian.
We have an internal quota to provide at least 1 diverse candidate per shortlist and in the last 12 months 42% of our leadership hires have been diverse.
How would you describe the culture? How do you continuously develop that?
Our culture fosters an inclusive and friendly workplace environment that welcomes people from all different backgrounds that support and promote our business values of excellence, empathy, entrepreneurship and collaboration every day.
How do you give back? What is the CSR policy?
At the end of each calendar year our consultants vote on which charity we would like to support for the following years charity initiative, for example in 2023 we set a 5K fundraising target for the mental health charity MIND, which we raised money for completing activities such as Tough Mudder, Scavenger hunts and Bake sales all in aid of this cause.
We also work with a business called Radical Recruit which is a nonprofit organisation which helps disadvantaged members of society finding work and becoming employable.
